About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled QA professional with expertise in automation to join our dynamic team. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing efficient test scripts, performing automation and manual testing, executing automated tests, and identifying and resolving any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop efficient, scalable, and maintainable automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and develop appropriate automation strategies.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of software applications and identify areas for automation.
  • Execute automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug test failures and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Implement continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 to 6 years of proven work experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in automation tools and programming languages.
  • In-depth understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and practices.
  • Solid knowledge of automation frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with version control systems and issue tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.

Educational Requirements:

  • B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, MCA or related field.
  • Experience with other automation frameworks and tools.
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
  • Certifications related to software testing and automation.
