Video Content Reviewer Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced video content reviewer to ensure all video content meets editorial, technical, and creative standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Content Review & Approval:
    • Ensure videos align with style guides and meet mandated requirements for background music and voiceovers.
    • Cross-check scripts and grammar, pronunciation, and display a strong command of the English language across visuals and audio.
  • Technical Quality Assessment:
    • Inspect videos for technical quality, including resolution, color grading, transitions, audio levels, and overall synchronization.
    • Flag and guide corrections for issues such as poor framing, sound inconsistencies, or graphical errors.
  • Compliance & Ethical Standards:
    • Ensure videos meet legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines, including copyright and fair use laws.
    • Verify that sensitive topics are handled with appropriate editorial care.
  • Collaboration & Feedback:
    • Work closely with video producers and editors, providing constructive feedback.
  • Requirements:
  • Education & Experience:
    • Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Production, or a related field.
    • Minimum 2+ years of experience in video editing, production, or quality assurance within a media organization.
  • Skills:
    • In-depth understanding of journalistic principles and editorial integrity.
    • Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and quality assurance tools.
    • Strong analytical and reporting skills for assessing video content against set standards.
