Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Freelance IoT Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing innovative IoT solutions, as well as experience with device management, edge computing, and data analytics.

  • Develop scalable and secure IoT architectures and frameworks
  • Lead the design and implementation of IoT solutions, including device management, data analytics, and integration with existing systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative IoT solutions
  • Conduct feasibility studies and proof-of-concepts to validate technical feasibility and potential business value
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations in IoT solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience as an IoT Solution Architect or similar role, with a strong background in designing and implementing complex IoT solutions
  • Expertise in IoT protocols, platforms, and frameworks (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, LoRaWAN, AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub)
  • Hands-on experience with IoT device management, edge computing, and data analytics
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their IoT services
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified IoT Specialty, Cisco IoT Certifications) preferred
