Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to design and implement high-performance data pipelines that process massive amounts of data.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, experience working with big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop, and be proficient in Python.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable batch processing systems using Python and big data technologies, optimizing database performance, and identifying bottlenecks using Python profilers and performance monitoring tools.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for building efficient ETL pipelines, collaborating with data scientists and product teams, and documenting data architecture and engineering processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Data Engineering: Experience designing and implementing high-performance data pipelines, batch processing systems, and data warehouses.
- Big Data Technologies: Proficiency in Apache Spark, Hadoop, and NoSQL databases.
- Programming Languages: Expertise in Python, including proficiency in libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize database performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve query efficiency.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
