Senior Compliance Officer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance, regulatory affairs, and financial services.

About the Role:

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement effective compliance programs.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including regulators and auditors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Compliance Reporting & Disclosures – Prepare and review compliance reports and submissions to regulatory bodies.
  2. Investment Limits Monitoring – Monitor investment limits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Policies, Procedures & SOPs – Develop and maintain compliance-related policies and procedures.
  4. Governance & Documentation – Ensure proper documentation for Board and committee processes.
  5. Regulatory Updates – Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and communicate updates to the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, or related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in compliance, with exposure to mutual funds/AIFs.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable to new compliance tools and systems.
