Job Title: Technology Manager

This role is for a Technology Manager at Weekday, a leading company in the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of .NET applications throughout all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications, ensuring they meet the required standards and are delivered on time.
  • Environment Setup: Establish, enhance, and integrate development and testing environments, tools, and software as needed.
  • Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize and fine-tune .NET applications and projects, ensuring they are efficient and effective.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and consultation for .NET applications and deployment-related inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • API Integrations: Oversee the planning and execution of external third-party technical API integrations with LPaaS Banking and the Program Rewards Portal.
  • Client Interactions: Manage client interactions to effectively communicate and implement plans, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Change Management: Develop and enforce change management processes and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring compliance.
  • Project Delivery: Monitor daily implementation progress, coordinate meetings with relevant stakeholders, and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with the LPaaS product team, Quality Assurance (QA) team, and process analysts.
  • Issue Resolution: Track and resolve production and non-production application issues or requests using tools like JIRA, adhering to agreed plans and SLAs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and guide the production support team in resolving production issues.
  • Implementation Gaps: Collaborate with business analysts and the technology development/LPaaS support team to address and close implementation gaps.
  • Travel: Be prepared to travel domestically or internationally for extended or short-term assignments to engage with clients as needed.
Technical Skills:
  • .NET Core: Proficiency in .NET Core 3.1, C#, Web Services, Worker/Background Services, REST/GRPC APIs, and database management with SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Web Development: Experience with Web API, MVC, Razor Pages, and design patterns; familiarity with JavaScript frameworks is a plus.
  • Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Redis, message queues, Docker, and microservices architecture.
  • Security: Understanding of OAuth 2, Single Sign-On (SSO), CORS, XSS, authentication, authorization, Access Control Lists (ACL), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Workflow Diagrams: Proficiency in using MS Visio, Draw.io, or similar tools for creating workflow and architectural diagrams.
  • Project Management: Experience with project management and tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure Boards, or similar.
  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
  • Product Architecture: Background in technology product architecture design and development is preferred.
  • Project Delivery: Proven experience in managing at least one or two product developments from inception to delivery.
