Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Lead QA Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality of software releases, designing and developing automated testing frameworks and scripts, and collaborating with the engineering and product management teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure software releases meet quality standards and are free of defects.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and optimize automated testing frameworks and scripts.
  • Develop and implement software testing strategies and plans.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and product management teams to ensure testing and development teams are integrated and aligned.
  • Report on testing progress and identify potential risks or issues.
  • Manage test lab environments and develop subject matter expertise for different components of the platform.
  • Mentor other team members and provide training and support.
Requirements
  • Minimum of eight years of experience in a quality assurance or test engineering role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in designing and implementing automation test frameworks and scripts from scratch.
  • Practical experience in coding using at least one programming language, such as Java, C#, TestNG, JUnit, Ant, or Maven.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python, JavaScript, or Shell.
  • Strong experience in analyzing requirements, developing comprehensive test plans and test cases, and identifying and documenting software defects.
  • Hands-on experience in testing Soap and Rest web service APIs.
  • Experience working with databases, data processing, and analytical tools and familiarity with SQL language.
  • Strong aptitude for learning, excellent oral and written communication skills, and outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within teams and across teams, adapt to different situations, and successfully achieve assigned goals and targets.
  • In-depth understanding of software development life cycle, testing methodologies, processes, and quality control.
  • Proficiency in both Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Experience with Cloud Native platforms and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Familiarity or experience with client tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Familiarity or experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Familiarity or experience with Test Management tools such as TestLink and TestRail.
  • Familiarity or experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence Wiki.
  • Familiarity or experience with performance and stress testing, including the use of performance test tools like JMeter and LoadRunner.
