Cost Manager Job Description

This job involves the preparation and management of cost-related activities within an organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare weekly and monthly cost sheets for various departments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze administrative overhead expenses and identify reasons for deviations from budgeted amounts.
  • Present product-wise variable costs to senior management during monthly review meetings.
  • Ensure that all expenses are correctly booked to relevant cost centers.
  • Review annual business plans and prepare quarterly rolling forecasts for presentation to senior management.
  • Collaborate with auditors to resolve queries related to cost audit reports.
