About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Workday Functional Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for streamlining HR processes through the effective use of Workday software.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Workday as a functional consultant, with a strong background in HRIS system administration. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and managing incoming incidents and requests, resolving tier 0, 1, and some tier 2 requests or system issues according to established guidelines and security policies.
  • Performing administration of full-suite of Workday modules, including payroll, learning, and performance.
  • Developing and maintaining basic custom reports, performing overall governance, including audits and annual maintenance using guidelines and policies.
  • Integrations-Monitoring and managing integration warnings and failures using team guidelines and policies.
  • Serving as the primary security admin, maintaining roles and permissions using guidelines and policies, coordinating quarterly and annual security reviews, and performing audits and maintenance as needed.
  • Maintaining technical documentation.
  • Playing an active role in your area of expertise, serving as a point of reference for sharing knowledge and information with colleagues, collaborating to improve internal organizational capability, including training and mentoring of new Workday administrative users/team members.
  • Working directly with business users, internal teams, and vendors for both support and project work.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Workday as a functional consultant.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team, and leadership.
  • The ability to prioritize (and re-prioritize) as business needs change.
  • Experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer service orientation.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to learn technology tools quickly.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
