Financial Strategist

Key Role Overview:

The Financial Strategist will be a senior leadership member, responsible for spearheading the company's financial strategy and operations. This role requires oversight of banking activities, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Banking Operations Management:
    • Oversight of international and domestic banking transactions, including imports and exports.
    • Management of foreign exchange risk through currency hedging strategies.
    • Coordination with banks and financial institutions for trade finance, export credit, and working capital.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Adherence to statutory requirements, including GST, Customs, RBI regulations, and other international financial compliances.
    • Accurate and timely submission of financial statements, tax filings, and regulatory reports.
  • Financial Strategy and Planning:
    • Leadership in preparation and finalization of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and/or IFRS.
    • Supervision of consolidation of accounts across domestic and international subsidiaries or business units.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the jewelry or luxury goods sector.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade finance, tax laws, and financial regulations.
