Job Title: Assistant Professor of IT

Sri Balaji University, Pune is looking for a dynamic and accomplished academic professional to fill the position of Assistant Professor in the field of Information Technology.

  • This role requires an individual with excellent teaching skills, research experience, and a strong academic record.

The ideal candidate should possess a good understanding of pedagogy, be able to design and deliver engaging curricula, and have a proven track record of publishing scholarly work.

Apart from teaching, the successful candidate will also be responsible for contributing to the university's research endeavors, mentoring students, and participating in departmental activities.

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a Master's or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field, with a strong background in IT-related disciplines such as computer science, software engineering, or data analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and mentoring students at the undergraduate and graduate levels
  • Conducting research and publishing scholarly articles in reputable journals
  • Developing and delivering curriculum that aligns with industry trends and standards
  • Mentoring students on research projects and guiding them towards academic success
  • Participating in departmental activities, such as committee work and community engagement

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, etc.)
  • Strong academic record, with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
  • Proven research experience, with publications in reputable journals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
