iOS Developer Job Description

Our company is seeking a skilled iOS Developer to join our mobile engineering team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance iOS applications for Apple devices, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative features, optimize performance, and ensure the best possible user experience in line with Apple's design standards.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application stability and performance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement new features.
  • Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code.

Key Tasks Include:

  • Automating build and release processes and contributing to CI/CD workflows.
  • Implementing application updates and handling ongoing maintenance.
  • Conducting code reviews and providing mentorship to junior developers.
  • Writing and maintaining unit tests and UI tests to ensure code quality.
  • Using Instruments and other debugging tools to diagnose performance issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Swift and scalable app development.
  • Proficiency in Cocoa Touch and modern Apple frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of RxSwift or Combine for reactive programming.
  • Solid grasp of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and iOS architecture.
  • A degree in Computer Science or related field.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with CloudKit, Core Data, or Realm databases.
  • Familiarity with AWS Lambda, Firebase, or similar cloud services.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks such as XCTest, Specta, or Quick.
  • Ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
  • Prior experience with leading or participating in code reviews.
