We are looking for an experienced API Developer to join our organization. As an API Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing APIs using Google APIGEE Edge or APIGEE X.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality APIs using APIGEE Edge / APIGEE X.
  • Implement API proxies, policies (security, traffic management, mediation, etc.), and custom scripts.
  • Collaborate with architects and backend teams to define API contracts and integration strategies.
  • Evaluate and ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and meet performance benchmarks.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot API performance and availability issues.
  • Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for API deployments.
  • Maintain API documentation and version control.
  • Work with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.

Required skills and qualifications include experience in API development using APIGEE, strong understanding of RESTful API design principles, experience with OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, and other API security standards, experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc., knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable), strong problem-solving and debugging skills, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
