Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures to support the digital transformation of retail platforms.

The successful candidate will play a key role in defining and executing cloud migration strategies, optimizing infrastructure performance, and ensuring compliance with security and governance best practices across cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premise or legacy systems to cloud-based platforms.
  • Design multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures to ensure high availability, scalability, and business continuity.
  • Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure robust cloud governance and security compliance.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud costs, performance, and resource utilization.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to development and operations teams on cloud best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and evaluate their applicability to business needs.

Requirements

We require strong hands-on experience with GCP, deep knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, microservices, and containerization, proven expertise in IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools, experience with cloud migration strategies, workload assessments, and re-architecting solutions, strong understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks, familiarity with cloud cost optimization strategies and tools, excellent communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and cloud certifications preferred.
