About the Role:

The Account Director will lead a team in crafting and executing strategic, creative communication solutions for clients. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of integrated communications, stakeholder management, and business development.

As the senior point of contact, the Account Director will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and client CXOs to bring communication strategies to life across traditional and digital platforms.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong command of integrated communications and a proven track record in leading high-performing teams.

Key responsibilities include maintaining and growing client relationships at operational and leadership levels through regular advocacy, translating overall strategies into actionable plans, developing award-winning ideas, and overseeing media universe development.

The Account Director will also drive new business opportunities by participating in client pitches, directing account managers in client retention, coaching and developing team members, and promoting a positive work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to collaborate and nurture working relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Demonstrate thinking and innovation skills during challenging projects
  • Self-motivation and ability to create schedules and routines to stay focused on tasks
  • Willingness to learn and use digital tools for virtual communication and collaboration
  • Critical thinking and creativity in developing ideas
  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, PR, Journalism, or MBA in Marketing from a reputable institution
  • 10-13 years' experience in a PR agency
