Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mobile QA Lead to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our mobile applications. Your expertise will contribute to a seamless user experience and the overall success of our products in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive testing of mobile applications and microservices to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test plans, test cases, and test strategies that align with project requirements and goals.
  • Perform manual and automated testing of mobile applications to validate functionality, usability, compatibility, and performance.
  • Document and track defects, perform root cause analysis, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Execute regression testing to verify bug fixes and enhancements, ensuring the overall stability of the application.
  • Evaluate the user interface, navigation, and overall user experience of mobile applications, providing insights for improvement.
  • Conduct load, stress, and performance testing to identify potential bottlenecks and ensure optimal application performance.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to understand application functionality and user requirements.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • 6+ years of experience in automation tools like Appium, WebdriverIO, Selenium, TestNG, Maven, Git, Jenkins, SOAP UI, JavaScript, Xpaths.
  • Proficiency in functional testing, test case creation, and defect tracking.
  • Strong understanding of mobile testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Expertise in practical knowledge of debugging tools on web and mobile platforms.
  • Experience in API automation testing and exposure to REST API frameworks, such as Postman and Rest Assured.
  • Strong experience in integration testing (SIT) and ability to understand system architecture and guide the team to build effective test scenarios.
  • Good experience working with SQL and large volumes of data.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration, preferably Azure.
Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
