Job Description:

As a seasoned expert in advanced data systems, you will lead a team of engineers and architects responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-performance data solutions. Your primary focus will be on architecting scalable data architectures that meet the demanding requirements of Tier 1 systems.

Key responsibilities include leading project delivery, ensuring solutions meet non-functional requirements (NFRs) and service level agreements (SLAs), and utilizing AI-driven tools to design and scale system topologies.

Additional responsibilities include data architecture leadership, where you will oversee the implementation of robust data architectures that support mission-critical applications. This includes designing data models, schemas, and storage solutions optimized for performance, scalability, and accessibility.

You will also be responsible for optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring efficient data ingestion, transformation, and integration across distributed systems. Furthermore, you will ensure data governance, integrity, and security standards are maintained across all data architectures.

Team management is another critical aspect of this role, where you will manage, mentor, and inspire a team of data engineers, architects, and performance engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in delivering advanced data systems or similar solutions, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role
  • Proven track record of deploying high-scale, mission-critical Tier 1 systems with real-time and batch workloads
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing data architectures for large-scale, distributed systems, including data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and storage solutions
  • Hands-on expertise with AI-driven tools to design, scale, and tune system topologies
  • Deep knowledge of performance tuning for data processing frameworks and databases
