iSeries/AS400 RPG Programmer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced iSeries/AS400 programmer to fill this challenging role.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of SQLRPGLE, Query/400, and ILE Advanced concepts as well as experience with complex SQL concepts and programming, FTP concepts, and automation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take their skills to the next level and contribute to innovative projects and technologies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, build, and maintain different libraries in an AS/400 environment
  • Perform technical support and operations CL programming skills for automation
  • Provide post-deployment support

Responsibilities also include interaction with client teams independently, working within an enterprise-wide data center environment and using iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS).

Candidates with experience in web services, application integration, or modernization areas of AS/400 will be at an added advantage.

Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of Database, DDS, subfiles, RPG III or later & RPGLE programming concepts
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL/400 and other AS/400 utilities
  • Hands-on experience working within an enterprise-wide data center environment
  • Interaction with client teams independently
  • Experienced in iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS)
