Welspun Corp Limited is seeking a highly skilled Cost Estimator Manager Senior to join its estimation team. This role involves developing comprehensive cost estimates, ensuring estimates align with market rates, supplier quotations, and project risks, and preparing competitive bid proposals and tender documents.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and contract requirements to determine scope.
- Develop comprehensive cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and overheads.
- Ensure estimates align with market rates, supplier quotations, and project risks.
- Prepare competitive bid proposals and tender documents.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. At least 10 years of experience in cost estimation, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, is required.
The candidate should possess strong technical skills, including expertise in cost estimation software, such as Candy, Primavera, AutoCAD, and Excel, as well as knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and labor costs, and contract management and project scheduling.
Collaboration and CommunicationThe Cost Estimator Manager Senior will collaborate with various departments, including procurement, engineering, finance, and operations teams, to obtain cost-effective solutions and provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
