Design Engineer in Test

Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing complex DFT architectures for SoCs. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, drive innovation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

We are looking for a highly skilled engineer who can design, implement, and verify DFT solutions that meet our high standards. If you are passionate about test engineering and have a strong background in DFT, we want to hear from you.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing DFT architectures for complex SoCs
  • Designing and verifying scan insertion, ATPG, MBIST, and boundary scan solutions
  • Collaborating with EDA vendors to evaluate and deploy DFT tool flows
  • Automating repetitive tasks using scripting to improve efficiency and reduce errors
  • Supporting test vector generation and validation for ATE

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Strong expertise in DFT architectures and methodologies, including but not limited to scan insertion & verification, ATPG, MBIST, and JTAG / boundary scan
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard DFT tools and methodologies from Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics (Siemens EDA)
  • Proven ability to develop and debug scripting solutions using Python, Perl, and TCL for automation of DFT flows
  • Solid understanding of SoC design cycle, RTL to GDSII flow, and test requirements
  • Experience collaborating with RTL designers, verification engineers, and physical design teams to ensure seamless DFT integration
