This executive position oversees the entire manuscript workflow from peer review to publication, ensuring timeliness, quality, and adherence to publishing standards.

  • Manage teams of Peer Review Editors, Content Writers, and Video Production staff to optimize publishing operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving throughput and reducing publication timelines.

For this role, we seek a results-driven individual with expertise in life sciences and at least 10 years of experience in academic, scientific publishing, or edtech content production, specializing in managing publication workflows.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of open access trends, evolving publishing models, digital technologies, and workflow automation tools. They must be able to make a significant impact on accelerating science research and enhancing student learning in science education.

As Editor-in-Chief, you will play a crucial role in shaping the publication's vision and mission, aligning with industry standards and best practices.

Key qualifications include:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in life sciences.
  • 10+ years of experience in scientific publishing, edtech content production, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong understanding of digital publishing technologies and workflow automation tools.
