Editorial Video Specialist

The role of an Editorial Video Specialist is vital in producing high-quality video content that effectively communicates our message. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for editing all video and audio content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Editing video content for post-production to ensure high-quality output.
  • Creating and editing graphics for videos when needed to enhance visual appeal.
  • Maintaining consistency across all outputs by ensuring all videos adhere to company standards for quality and length.
  • Timely uploading videos to social media platforms, meeting deadlines with precision.
  • Following company standards when editing, incorporating voice over and music when necessary to elevate the viewing experience.
  • Collaborating with the Communication Manager on scheduling productions and deadlines, ensuring seamless project execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in video editing, preferably in a News Channel or Ad Agency setting.
  • Strong knowledge of video editing software such as Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or other relevant tools.
  • Ability to follow complex instructions, demonstrating attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • A basic understanding of politics and the nature of India's democracy, enabling you to create contextually relevant content.
  • Familiarity with special effects, animation, 3D, and compositing techniques to elevate video production.
  • Calm under pressure, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and deadline-focused with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and reasonable verbal communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration within the team.
