We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team as a CAD Design Engineer.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of complex parts and assemblies using Creo software with expertise in CAD design.
  • Develop skills in part design, GD&T, and SPI standards for plastic design, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including plastic tool makers and injection molders to ensure design for manufacture requirements.
  • Generate innovative concepts, apply creative problem-solving skills, and design electromechanical enclosures.
  • Apply good design practices, DFMEA, and mechanical engineering design and analysis skills to achieve optimal results.
  • Utilize Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and rapid prototyping techniques to enhance product development.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Highly proficient in CAD software with a strong foundation in design principles.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of plastics and materials science to inform design decisions.
  • Exhibit exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills to drive innovation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
