Lead Information Security Officer Opportunity

About the Position:

As a Chief Information Security Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing technical information security aspects of financial institutions. This includes implementing and monitoring security controls for IT assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Third-party Risk Management: Review risk assessments of third-party vendors to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Application Security Testing: Conduct technical assessments of partner and internal infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Data Security: Implement access controls, encryption, and data loss prevention controls to safeguard confidential data.
  • Internal & External Regulatory Audits & Compliance: Lead internal and external regulatory audits to assess the effectiveness of security controls and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Information Security Awareness & Emergency Response: Develop and implement information security awareness programs for employees and vendor staff.
  • Security Operations Centre (SOC) Monitoring: Monitor and respond to security alerts observed by the centralized SOC.
  • Security Tools Implementation & Monitoring: Implement and monitor various security tools to protect organizational IT assets.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in information security, specifically in vendor risk assessments, cloud security, compliance, and business continuity.
  • Hands-on experience in cloud security management and familiarity with business continuity planning.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 LA, ISO 22301 LA.
  • Technical expertise in AWS, AZURE, or OCI cloud security.
  • Experience in fast-paced or enterprise-level organizations.
  • Proficiency in risk management frameworks.
