About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced data engineer to lead the development of large-scale data processing pipelines using Apache Spark and related technologies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing, ETL concepts, and SQL/NoSQL operations.
Familiarity with UNIX shell scripting for scheduling and running application jobs is also required.
Main Responsibilities- Design and develop efficient data processing pipelines using Apache Spark Core, Spark SQL, and Spark Streaming.
- Maintain expertise in database concepts and optimize data storage solutions.
- Develop strong problem-solving skills and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Proven experience in data engineering and big data technologies.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL principles.
- Expertise in SQL/NoSQL databases and data storage solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems.
