Electrical Control Systems Professional

Tecnicas Reunidas is a world-leading international general contractor engaged in the engineering and construction of industrial facilities across various sectors.

We are seeking professionals with relevant design experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Power Plant, and Petrochemical industries, having good knowledge in FEED and Detail Engineering within Power and Oil and Gas Projects.

  • Professionals with Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience in the industry sectors of Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Petrochemical.
  • Good knowledge of Electrical Control System (Power monitoring System), communication protocols, architecture diagrams and IEC61850.
  • Capable to review and develop technical specifications, data sheets, technical bid evaluation of electrical equipment and materials, I/O lists, related with ECS/PMS, IRP.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing Electrical control systems.
  • Preparing and reviewing technical specifications and data sheets.
  • Creating I/O lists.
  • Managing procurement and purchasing activities for ECS/PMS and IRP.
  • Collaborating with other technical disciplines involved.
  • Able to adapt to changes and demonstrate flexibility as required.
  • Maintaining awareness and commitment to health, safety and environmental issues.
  • Managing engineering vendors data.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Designing and specifying electrical equipment and materials.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience working in the electrical discipline in an engineering company.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Creative problem solving abilities.
  • Understanding of other disciplines involved in the project.
  • Able to complete tasks in accordance with project requirements.
  • Able to discuss routine technical problems and communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Self-motivated and quick learner.
  • Excellent English language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing.
