Financial Operations Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Associate to join our team. This role requires strong knowledge of Australian bookkeeping, accounting standards, and taxation rules.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing day-to-day bookkeeping, preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with BAS, GST, and other tax-related filings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with Australian accounting standards.
  • Assist with BAS, GST, and other tax-related filings.
  • Process payroll and superannuation contributions.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Work with accountants to prepare financial reports and ensure compliance.
  • Manage invoicing, receipts, and expense tracking.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (Australian clients or companies preferred).
  • Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of BAS, GST, superannuation, and other Australian compliance requirements.
  • Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal). Clear, professional, and confident communicator.
  • Work Style: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Mindset: Sharp, analytical, and proactive problem-solver.
