Job Overview

The Technical Services Manager plays a pivotal role in driving customer solutions, supporting sales, and guiding product development by bridging market needs with internal functions.

This position requires a strong understanding of polymer science, standard test methods, and customer focus to provide prompt, practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Expertise: Provide comprehensive technical services and formulation support for targeted segments.
  • Formulation Development: Develop and adapt formulations for local market requirements.
  • Training and Growth: Conduct technical training for customers, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Perform competitive analysis and recommend strategies.
  • Compliance and Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with statutory and internal standards, manage lab operations efficiently, and uphold EHS and ISO requirements.
  • Customer Support: Support customer complaint resolution and application troubleshooting.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Education: MSc or Bachelor of Engineering or Master's of Engineering in Chemistry preferred.
  • Experience: At least 8 years of formulation experience in Polymer dispersions/coatings with at least 2 years in a supervisory/people leadership role.
  • Critical Competencies: Sound understanding of polymer science and standard test methods, strong customer focus, deep knowledge of core markets, competitors, and emulsion polymer technology.
