Database Administrator Role

Job Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad, India.

Job Type: Contract-based Position.

  • 5 years of experience in a complex corporate IT infrastructure role is essential.
  • 5 years of previous experience as a Senior Database Administrator are required.
  • 2 years of supporting high availability technologies and replication is necessary.
  • 2 years of experience with performance tuning and management specifically related to SQL Server is crucial.
  • 1 year of expertise in troubleshooting and writing complex queries.
  • 3 years of supporting other critical technologies such as MS Exchange, Active Directory, Operating System (MS Server & Citrix hosting) AV Protection, Monitoring and configuration Systems (SQL Monitor, SCOM, SCCM), Virtualisation (VMware), Storage (HP SANs), and Support, IT Security (Websense, F5, and Dell Secureworks).
  • Experience with Redgate SQL Monitor and Redgate SQL Backup is necessary.
  • 2 years of experience working within a financial services organization is required.
  • Prior knowledge of Data/DevOps including continuous integration is beneficial.
  • Previous experience of migrating between versions of SQL Server.
  • Expertise in providing 24/7 production and development support for business-critical applications and servers is essential.
