Healthcare Data Scientist Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Freelance Data Scientist to work with healthcare claims and provider data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract, clean, and analyze large-scale healthcare claims and provider datasets to identify trends and insights.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to extract and transform data.
  • Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to generate actionable insights and support operational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure data accuracy.
  • Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings and support strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain clear documentation of processes, methodologies, and data definitions for transparency and reproducibility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • Proven experience working with healthcare claims and provider data.
  • Advanced SQL expertise and strong Python skills with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
