Key Systems Consultant Role

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled technical expert to provide support and guidance on Murex system implementation, configuration, and development.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work on various aspects of Murex system implementation, including datamart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS, and MDCS.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, document, and verify requirements.
  • Analyse related Murex implementation experience to make informed recommendations.
  • Follow client SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements.
  • Support IT and business audits and technology risk assessments.
  • Develop and test database and infrastructure changes.
  • Perform technical reviews of production changes.
  • Document issues and resolution in Confluence.
  • Maintain and enhance the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end-of-day batches.
  • Communicate directly with business users to analyse and diagnose business-critical issues.
  • Analyse and resolve issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, and reporting.
  • Provide detailed information about issues to vendors and coordinate testing fixes/solutions.
  • Act as an intermediary between business and vendors.
  • Enhance bespoke Java processes supporting the Murex implementation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Murex in a support capacity.
  • Strong technical capability.
  • Solid understanding of DataMart.
