Job Title: Finance Professional

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the entire accounts payable process as part of our finance team.

About This Role:

This position is responsible for explaining and assisting vendors and stakeholders with the accounts payable process, reconciling accounts payable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness, analyzing bank statements and resolving discrepancies in payment processes, generating and approving vendor invoices, resolving vendor payment queries, and preparing payment record documents for audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Explain and assist vendors and stakeholders with the accounts payable process
  • Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Analyze bank statements and resolve discrepancies in payment processes
  • Generate and approve vendor invoices
  • Resolve vendor payment queries
  • Prepare payment record documents for audits

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (B.Com, MCOM, CA Inter preferred)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting domain with corporate experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and laws governing the accounting field
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented individual with good critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Team player with ability to work independently
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and manage time effectively
