About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sustainability Consultant to join our team at Sattva Consulting. As a Senior Sustainability Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their sustainability goals and reduce their environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive successful delivery and execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering a deep understanding of their business needs and priorities.
  • Design and implement effective delivery models to achieve project outcomes efficiently and with the highest efficacy.
  • Provide strong advisory abilities to support clients in making informed and efficient decisions.
  • Manage project resources effectively, ensuring a keen eye on project financials.
  • Develop specializations in specific thematic focus areas, strengthening Sattva's capabilities to deliver value to clients.
  • Engage with multiple stakeholders, including funders, third-party agencies, and vendors, to achieve program outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of junior team members and a strong culture working environment.
  • Contribute to overall business development and market engagement efforts by writing quality sales proposals and thought leadership pieces.

Requirements

  • Master's degree with a focus in Sustainability, Environment, Economics, or Social Impact, or relevant certifications in ESG, Environment, Sustainability, or Climate studies.
  • At least 6-8 years of experience working in the sustainability space, preferably in corporate, social enterprises, consulting firms, or investment and audit firms.
  • Specific experience across areas such as GHG accounting, climate strategies, climate risk assessments, carbon offset/trading, energy efficiency, and environmental impact assessments.
  • Ability to balance project deadlines with rigorous quality standards, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work products.
  • Strong understanding of financial and business principles and diverse models.
  • Skilled in client management, fostering relationships with professionalism, and developing innovative strategies aligned with organizational goals.
