Backend Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned backend engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong foundation in software engineering principles, with a focus on building scalable and efficient systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement high-quality, scalable backend systems using Java and related technologies.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
  3. Develop and maintain APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
  4. Ensure seamless integration with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and participate in the development of clean architecture principles.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of full stack/backend engineering experience with Java and related technologies.
  • Strong expertise in Java is mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture, Quarkus, Kafka, Solace, Redis, Aerospike.
  • Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
