At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live their healthiest life. As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Azure.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Azure Cloud & Infrastructure Setup: Utilize your expertise to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure, ensuring it meets the needs of our organization.
  • Github Management: Leverage Github for version control, manage workflows, actions, and enforce branch protection rules to ensure smooth collaboration among teams.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Building: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub Actions and other tools to ensure efficient software delivery.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration.
  • Security Scans: Conduct regular security scans and implement best practices to ensure the integrity and security of our infrastructure.
  • Containerization: Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications, including using golden images (e.g., Chainguard).
  • Artifactory: Implement and manage Artifactory as a primary source for global registries (e.g., npm, apk, apt-get, CDN, pip).
  • Service Deployment: Deploy and manage various services including Node.js, APIs, Java, .NET, ETL, React, Spring, and other applications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline processes and improve productivity.
  • Nginx: Use Nginx as a reverse proxy for load balancing and as a static HTTP server.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-7 Years working experience in Cloud Services, Devops
  • Proven experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure setup.
  • Strong knowledge of Github, including workflows, actions, and branch protection rules.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline building.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Familiarity with security scanning tools and practices.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience in deploying and managing Node.js, APIs, Java, .NET, and other services.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $170,000 per year
