Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description:

Luxoft DXC Technology Company is a leading provider of consulting and implementation services for complex projects in the financial industry.

We are looking for a skilled SOC Analyst to join our team at the interface between technology and business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist leadership in preparing for cyber events, improving visibility and infrastructure within corporate IT and Cybersecurity.

• Identify, analyze, and scope cyber events for Incident Managers.

• Provide guidance on containment and remediation for Incident Managers and IT Operations personnel.

• Drive incidents to resolution with urgency.

• Improve event analysis operations and manage detection algorithms and use-cases.

• Understand and incorporate Incident Handling methodology in daily taskings.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in Cybersecurity.

• General understanding of SEIM, DLP Alerts, Incident Handling Methodology, and EDR platforms.

• Certification in GIAC, CEH, CySA+, Security+, or other security certifications.

• Hands-on technical Cybersecurity experience across multiple domains.

• Technical understanding of Mac OSX, Microsoft Windows, and Linux/Unix system administrative and security controls.

• TCP and UDP protocol technical understanding.

• Familiarity with incident response and security operations in public cloud environments.

• Familiarity with incident response and security operations in large corporate on-prem environments.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.

• Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills.
