Job Title: Technical Business Analyst - EDP Platform Engineering

This role is a key contributor to the customer's strategic vision of expanding EDP data entitlement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize workflows and operational processes across the EDP platform for maximum efficiency.
  • Develop comprehensive KPIs and performance dashboards for real-time monitoring and decision-making.
  • Support the Enterprise Data Council with data-driven insights for strategic direction and product management.
  • Document and standardize operational procedures across teams to ensure consistency.
  • Execute cloud cost optimization initiatives to achieve annual 10% cost savings target.
  • Maintain sophisticated cost models and estimation frameworks for infrastructure services and resiliency capabilities.
  • Support Reserved Instances (RI) and Savings Plans (SP) optimization.
  • Generate strategic cost reporting and variance analysis for leadership and vendor management.
  • Monitor platform utilization, performance metrics, and operational health across EDP services.
  • Support L1/L2 operational activities for EDP Vanguard (Operations & Support Team).
  • Assist with capacity planning, resource allocation, and infrastructure automation initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and cloud operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for complex data analysis and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform and FinOps practices.

Reports to EDP Technology Leadership team.

Works closely with EDP Vanguard (Operations & Support), Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, and Architecture teams.

Interfaces with Enterprise Data Council for strategic reporting and insights.
