We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Storyteller.

About the Role

The role involves capturing authentic stories from beneficiaries and stakeholders, and turning them into compelling narratives across various formats. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct interviews and conversations with beneficiaries and stakeholders to capture their stories.
  • Document stories and events in clear, concise, and engaging formats such as articles, short write-ups, social media captions, case studies, etc.
  • Support the creation of internal and external communication materials.
  • Assist in building and maintaining an archive of stories, photographs, and other content assets.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to generate fresh ideas for content.
  • Support in designing visual content such as social media posts, presentations, or reports using tools like Adobe Suite, Canva, Figma, etc.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (ongoing or completed) in Communications, Journalism, English, Liberal Arts, Media Studies, Public Relations, or related fields.
  • Candidates from Design, Fine Arts, or related disciplines with strong writing skills are also encouraged to apply.
Desired Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong interviewing and documentation abilities, comfortable talking to people and drawing out stories.
  • Ability to write across formats: from short social media copy to long-form articles.
  • Good organizational skills to manage multiple stories and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with design tools is a significant plus.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
