Senior Java Developer Job Description

Overview:

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality Java-based applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop RESTful web services using Spring Framework.
  • Develop web applications leveraging the Spring Framework.
  • Build microservices using Spring Boot.
  • Manage and configure application server Tomcat.
  • Work hands-on with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server.
  • Implement continuous integration processes using tools like Jenkins.
  • Adhere strictly to SDLC principles, emphasizing quality and standards-based development.
  • Communicate effectively in English with strong verbal and written skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE technologies.
  • Strong expertise in Core Java.
  • Proficiency in Spring Framework including Spring DI, Spring AOP, and Autowiring.
  • Experience with Spring Boot and Kafka.
  • Knowledge of Spring ORM and Spring Data JPA.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and domains on-demand.
