Job Summary

MNR Solutions is seeking a skilled Power BI professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and managing Power BI reports and dashboards, with the ability to analyze data, generate insights, and support business decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights and support business decision-making.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze complex datasets and translate them into meaningful and visually appealing Power BI reports. Ensure data accuracy and consistency in reporting.
  • Data Modeling: Create and manage data models in Power BI, including data integration from various sources, data transformation, and optimization for reporting purposes.
  • Dashboard Management: Develop and manage interactive dashboards, ensuring they meet business requirements and user needs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards, optimizing them for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and requirements. Provide recommendations based on data analysis and reporting outcomes.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards, including data discrepancies, performance problems, and user access issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation of Power BI report specifications, data sources, and processes. Provide training and support to end-users as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices. Continuously seek opportunities to improve reporting processes and enhance reporting capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Power BI Expertise: Strong experience with Power BI, including report development, data modeling, and dashboard creation.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing complex data sets and translating them into clear, actionable insights through Power BI.
  • SQL Knowledge: Experience with SQL and database querying to extract and manipulate data for reporting purposes.
  • Data Integration: Ability to integrate data from various sources and ensure data quality and accuracy in Power BI reports.
  • Visualization Skills: Excellent skills in creating visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards and reports.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and present findings.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Power BI and relevant data analysis and reporting roles.
