Lead Technical Engineer Role

We're looking for an entrepreneurial engineering leader to join our team. In this role, you'll lead a team to develop new products and services, scaling existing ones.

You'll partner with teams across the company to ensure a consistently awesome experience across platforms and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage performance and career development of a large team of engineers and managers.
  • Owning significant parts of our products requiring design, architecture, and coding.
  • Participating with senior leadership in developing a long-term technology roadmap.
  • Being a role model and professional coach for engineers and managers.
  • Working with peers across teams to support and leverage a shared technical stack.
  • Managing teams to scale distributed applications, making architectural trade-offs, reviewing code, and delivering with speed and quality.
  • Producing high-quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
  • Interacting closely with product and other cross-functional partners to create roadmaps with significant impact on our products.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science or related field with 12+ years of relevant engineering work experience and 4+ years of hands-on technical management experience.
  • 5+ years software design, coding in one of the following languages: Java, C++.
