Job Description

We tackle complex infrastructure and operational challenges with a software engineering mindset. Our mission is to build and improve software platforms that enable the provisioning and management of all services in safe, reliable, and scalable ways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and architecting solutions to enhance agility for managing hundreds of microservices infrastructures in a stable and reliable way.
  • Automating DevOps and SRE aspects like infrastructure provisioning, deployment, observability, incident lifecycle, uptime SLA, etc.
  • Troubleshooting priority incidents, facilitating blameless post-mortems, and ensuring permanent closure of incidents.
  • Collaborating with development teams throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability and scale.
  • Becoming proficient in cloud environments, including Kubernetes clusters hosted in AWS and using InfrastructureAsCode tooling like Terraform and Ansible to manage resources.
  • Maintaining strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, and contributing to technology and product strategy.
  • Participating in on-call rotations for 24x7 support coverage and driving operational efficiency and transparency within a growing engineering organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, information technology, computer science, or similar.
  • 3+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience with administering Kubernetes clusters.
  • Experience with managing Infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Direct production operations experience in a cloud environment.
  • Experience contributing to technology and product strategy.
