  • Job Title: Actuarial Professional - Life Insurance
  • Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Actuarial Professional to join our Life Insurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in actuarial science, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Deliver high-quality actuarial services to clients, including reserve analysis, capital modeling, and investment advice.
  • Develop and maintain complex mathematical models to support actuarial valuation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop strategies to drive growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends, applying this knowledge to enhance the firm's actuarial services.
  • Contribute to the development of actuarial methodologies and tools, leveraging expertise to improve process efficiency and accuracy.

**Requirements:**

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field; Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) designation or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in actuarial roles, preferably in life insurance; experience with actuarial software such as Prophet an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong understanding of actuarial principles and practices; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA programming language.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic business setting.
