About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering team at Autodesk. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing serverless cloud DevOps platforms, ensuring high-quality products through automated processes.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing software build environments, working with continuous integration/deployment tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS DevOps suite), and source code management tools (GitHub).

You will work closely with internal product development teams, IT, Operations, and Project Management to maintain our internal DevOps platform. Additionally, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop new features for our global build distribution system.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop serverless cloud DevOps platforms
  • Work with internal clients to understand their product build process and consumption
  • Build and maintain build distribution systems serving across multiple cloud and data center locations
  • Develop new features for global build distribution systems
  • Manage platform infrastructure in AWS, Azure, and data centers
  • Provide support to Autodesk product teams with global build distribution
  • Maintain documentation and diagrams outlining automated solutions and build architecture

Requirements:

  • Masters or bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering with an excellent academic background
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant work experience in large-scale software development
  • Technical hands-on experience in managing software build environments that support multiple ongoing development efforts
  • Continuous integration/deployment tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS DevOps suite)
  • Source code management tools (GitHub)
  • Strong scripting languages such as Groovy, Bash, PowerShell, and Python
  • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud
  • A variety of computing environments; Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux
  • Hands-on experience with IAC (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Project and collaboration management systems (JIRA, Confluence Wiki)
  • Work with containers and pods (Docker and Kubernetes)
  • Experience with monitoring and BI tools like Grafana, Cribl, and CloudWatch
  • Familiar with software engineering practices, Agile, DevOps methodologies
  • Authoring pipelines and everything-as-code
  • Experience with production serverless cloud applications

Autodesk offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience and location, plus discretionary annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock or long-term incentive cash grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
