Job Description

A successful candidate will carry out day-to-day project activities, plan quality cycles, or tasks related to them, as well as process improvement and product quality assurance. The role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with organizational goals and project requirements.

The ideal candidate will lead and mentor the QA team, ensuring efficient resource allocation and fostering a collaborative work environment. They will oversee manual and automated testing activities to ensure comprehensive coverage of data-driven applications, evaluate application performance, and identify areas for optimization.

The selected candidate will also oversee defect identification, documentation, and tracking using appropriate bug tracking systems, lead the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency, and identify opportunities for process improvements within the QA team and contribute to enhancing testing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, strong leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and guide the QA team effectively.

Candidates should also possess in-depth knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices, a meticulous approach to ensure thorough testing and accurate defect reporting, and excellent communication skills to convey test results and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

In addition, they must have 7+ years of experience in a quality engineering field, excellent designing and programming skills, experience with automated QA tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, Maven, TestNG, BDD frameworks like Cucumber, version control systems like Git, Java for developing QA Test Solutions, and good experience working with and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Candidates should also be familiar with Agile/Scrum development processes, complex development stacks, and able to test at all levels, working knowledge of Graylog, Jira, Zephyr, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Postman, Swagger, SQL, API, GUI, and End-to-end testing, load and performance testing with tools like JMeter, and writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
