Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Operations Center (SOC) Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SIEM platform configuration, deployment, and maintenance. They will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and functionality of our SIEM system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and Maintain SIEM Platform: The successful candidate will configure and maintain our SIEM platform to ensure it operates at peak performance and efficiency.
• Develop and Customize SIEM Rules: They will develop and customize SIEM rules, filters, and alerts to meet specific security monitoring and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with IT Teams: The SOC Engineer will collaborate with IT teams to onboard new data sources and integrate logs into the SIEM platform for comprehensive threat detection.
• Report Generation and Presentation: They will generate and present regular and ad-hoc reports on SIEM performance, security incidents, and compliance status to stakeholders and management.
• Stay Updated on Emerging Threats: The successful candidate will stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to enhance SIEM capabilities and proactive defense strategies.
• Incident Response: They will participate in incident response activities, including incident simulations, tabletop exercises, and post-incident reviews.
• Training and Guidance: The SOC Engineer will provide guidance and training to junior team members and stakeholders on SIEM platform usage, capabilities, and best practices.
