System Operations Role

We are seeking an experienced System Operations Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and services.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in system administration, with experience in deploying product updates and identifying production issues. They will also have excellent technical skills, including hands-on Linux Administration & troubleshooting, Scripting, VMware, Cron scheduling for backups, LVM.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have basic knowledge on Java, C++, Ansible, Nginx, Apache, Tomcat, as well as networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN, routing).

Other requirements include:

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic understanding of languages (Shell scripting, Python, Perl).
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
  • Installation of packages, patch management and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy product updates and identify production issues.
  • Implement integrations that meet customer needs.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Karix products.

What You'd Do?

  • Implement requested integrations.
  • Provide Level 2 technical support.
  • Build tools to reduce errors and improve customer experience.
  • Perform root cause analysis for production errors.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, deploy updates and fixes.
  • Develop scripts to automate visualization.
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
