Job Title: Python Backend Developer

We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in developing and maintaining robust backend systems utilizing Python.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable Python and Flask backend services.
  • Develop RESTful APIs with emphasis on performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Implement search and indexing using ElasticSearch to optimize data operations and reporting.
  • Write optimized SQL queries for efficient data management and analytics.
  • Manage relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) to ensure data integrity and scalability.
  • Optimize backend logic and queries for speed and efficiency.
  • Write unit tests and debug backend issues to ensure high-quality solutions.
  • Deploy applications on cloud or containerized platforms and monitor their performance.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and product teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in Python backend development.
  • Strong proficiency in Flask, ElasticSearch, and SQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • SQLAlchemy or other ORM experience.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Knowledge of asynchronous programming (e.g., Celery, asyncio).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and API versioning.
