Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop robust automation frameworks for web, API, and backend testing.
  2. Collaborate with product managers and developers to define automation strategies.
  3. Build and maintain automated test scripts for product quality across different modules.
  4. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for frequent and reliable deployments.
  5. Analyze test failures, conduct root cause analysis, and contribute to defect resolution.
  6. Evaluate and adopt new testing tools and technologies to improve test coverage and efficiency.
  7. Work as an individual contributor without management responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automation testing only.
  • Strong experience in building automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java programming languages.
  • Experience with REST API testing and integrating API validations.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
  • Solid understanding of test design principles and automation strategy.
  • Hands-on experience in Agile or Scrum-based environments.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar for test and defect management.
