About the Role:
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Data Processing Specialist to contribute to the development and optimization of scalable data processing workflows and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex data processing workflows using Python, ensuring efficient and reliable data transformation and aggregation.
- Write and maintain SQL queries in Snowflake to support accurate and timely data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Integrate diverse data sources, perform validation testing, and ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the workflow.
- Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker, guaranteeing scalability and reliability in distributed systems.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support data-driven microservices architecture.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS for automated deployments and updates.
- Monitor and log application performance to ensure high availability and quick issue resolution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in Python development, with a focus on data processing and automation.
- Proficiency in SQL, with hands-on experience in Snowflake.
- Strong experience with Docker and containerized application development.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS.
- Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is beneficial.
